I've known John since I was five years old, when he was dating my sister Marge and then married her. At their wedding I walked down the aisle next to the flower girl (Mickey, his niece). When my sister and John moved to London I spent many summers visiting them and John would often take me fishing. When at university John arranged for me to complete an engineering study at General Motors. I was always welcome at my sister and John's home which became like a second home during the two years I was at Western. I will always remember John "FOR THE GOOD TIMES". "FOR THE GOOD TIMES". Andrew Siman, John's brother in law; aka Eddy and uncle Eddy.

Please accept my deepest condolences at this time of loss. Great Uncle John will be remembered for his fun nature and wonderful stories he has shared over the years. I am glad my wife had the opportunity to meet Great Uncle John and enjoy his presence. Grandpa always has great stories to share of the old days that include Great Uncle John. Please know you are all in my family's thoughts and prayers. It's a comfort to know he had so much time on this earth to bring so much joy to many, and he will continue to do so. Rest in peace Great Uncle John. Stephen and family (Brenda, Myles, & Chloe).

John was a wonderful next-door-neighbor and it was a pleasure getting to know him. He was always smiling and laughing, always had a funny story to share. The one that will always play in our minds is how he was going to deal with the raccoons invading his roof! Talked often about his family. John was a very intelligent man and had all his wits about him. We are really going to miss having him around. Sorry we could not be there today but he is in our hearts and prayers. Our condolences to family and friends at this time.
