To Chris and Tyler, I believe this is the Karen I met when she was booking her tour to the East Coast this past summer with Ilderton Tours. If not, I apologize and extend my sympathies to you both in your loss. If it is, I so remember the days she came in to the office so excited to talk about and book her trip. She was determined to go no matter her health and from what I understand she had a wonderful trip. She shared a lovely picture from the trip with the office of the scenery there. From what I saw of her the few times I met her I saw a very determined, STRONG, woman who had faced many adversities over the years, straightforward and with great conviction. It is nice to know that she is no longer suffering. Please hold her close to your heart where she will always remain and be comforted knowing that LOVE never dies. May she rest in peace. Sincerely with Sympathy Linda Fox
I am so heartbroken to hear this news. My sincere sympathies to Karen's sons and family. I knew Karen from London Life and the Fitness Facility. She would come to step classes, looking pale with her hairless head or bandana, never complaining about her health and do the entire class. She amazed me with her determination to enjoy life with as much normality as possible. She certainly was an inspiration and her family should be so proud of the people she touched.
Tyler & Chris Please accept my most sincere sympathy in the loss of your dear sweet mom. I worked with her at London Life and we became great friends back when we both started there. We were pregnant together, ended up wearing identical maternity outfits one day to work, both had boys who we each called Christopher. Your mom was beautiful inside and out and an inspiration to everyone who was fortunate enough to call her friend. She will be missed and always loved.
I'm so sorry to hear of Karen's passing. I'm a friend of Karen's from London Life. Karen's strength and determination were second to none! From first diagnosis and having to "put off" the MS Bike Tour ride that year, to coming to fitness classes and talking about getting out for runs, she never complained or waivered in her determination to keep going. My heartfelt condolences to Karen's family on her passing. Mary
Very sorry for your loss. God Bless you all during this sad time
Tyler & Chris please accept our most sincere sympathy in the loss of your dear mom. I worked with your mom at London Life but most importantly we were both diagnosed with breast cancer within months of each other. I remember visiting her in chemotherapy after my radiation appointments as we were in the same treatment only 4 months after each other. I dedicated Chapter 18 to your mother in my recent book, I published this year. In fact the last time I hugged her was when I handed her my book. It is called 23 Years, 23 Minutes, 13 Angels. You may eventually find it in her belongings and may you treasure it. My husband John, Legacy Partners spent many hours helping her before he retired and Adam took over. Your mom's love of life and amazing determination and great strength leaves an imprint on our lives. May you both find comfort in knowing how greatly loved your mother, Karen was and how much we will all miss her. God Bless you both.
