To Alice and family, Our condolences on the passing of Gavin. His support of PROBUS and kindness and consideration to members of the club made him a well respected member of the club. He will be missed.

Gavin was a wonderful, generous, and intelligent man who was highly thought of by his fellow Rotarians in London West. Always thoughtful, kind, and quietly hard-working, he was a definite asset to our Club. Rotary was important to him, and fellowship was easy for him, as he followed the foundations and tenets of Rotary International. He will be sadly missed by his friends and fellow Rotarians, for his quiet humour, his thoughtful approach to issues that our Club encountered, and his dedication to his Club and its members. I have known "Uncle" Gavin and his family my entire 58 years. He was a great and kind man. He and his family had an immense and positive impact on my life. He is part of many of my life's happiest memories. My thoughts and prayers are with all of the family at this sad time.

On behalf of my family, I want of offer our sincere condolences to Alice, Ann, Lynn, John and the entire family. Gavin and my father were both Irish imports that became Canadian neighbours, friends and colleagues at General Motors. Gavin was quick with a smile and so kind-hearted. We shared many happy "family" holidays together with him and his lovely family. May warm memories of him comfort you all.
