Caterina Domenica Basile

Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at Mount Hope Long Term Care, on Monday, May 23^rd, 2016, Ina Basile of London at the age of 80.  Beloved sister of Vito Basile, Nino Basile and Cathy, Pina Zullo and Sal, and Aurelio Basile and Klara.  Predeceased by her parents Carmelo and Salvatricia and by her niece Lina Zullo.  Sadly missed by nieces and nephews David Basile and Gina, Tricia Di Cola and Marco, Paul Basile and Krista, Erika Basile and Brad. Cherished Great-aunt of Tyler, Morgan, Sydney, Kennedy, Ella, Cohen and Griffin. Ina was a faithful member and board member of the Sicilian Club.  Special thanks to the staff of the 5^th floor St. Mary’s of Mount Hope for their special care of Ina and for their support to her family. Visitation will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, on Friday from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. with prayers at 3:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at ST. MICHAEL’S PARISH, 511 Cheapside Street, on Saturday, May 28^th, 2016 at 10:00 a.m.  Entombment, St. Peter’s Holy Family Chapel Mausoleum.  Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Ina are asked to consider the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Alzheimer Society of London and Middlesex.
