Dear Family of Bette, I grew up living in Caledonia next door to Curt and Hilda...They were very special friends of my family. I remember as a teenage when you all came to Caledonia for a visit. I am so very sorry for your loss. May you find peace and comfort in all your memories.
To Jim and family; I am so sorry for he loss of your wife, mother and grandmother. Betty was my first boss when I went to work at the Post Office. She was a very caring, conscientious and fun person to work with. We had many good laughs together. Betty was always very good with the people who worked with her in payroll. My thoughts are with all of you at this time. Losing such a vibrant person who loved all of her family is a hard thing to bare. But I am sure you have many happy memories of your time with Betty and those will sustain you in the days to come. Sincerely Dorothy
So sorry to hear this. I loved her as a friend.
Jim and family, please accept our deepest condolences in your loss. Bette was a school-friend, a great sport, and a really nice person. I have known her all my life, and enjoyed the friendship. As young girls played "dolls" together, went swimming with the other 'kids', and, in general, she was always there : in community, in church activities, in school, etc. We will keep memories of her growing up in Caledonia close in our hearts. You have suffered a great loss in her passing.
Dear Uncle Jim, Jimmy, Rob, Debbie and Suzie, So incredibly sad to hear about your mom. I will forever cherish the many visits they made to Caledonia over the years. Aunt Bette was so warm and loving and I am happy to have seen her in September of 2014. Sending all my love to your family in this difficult time. Amber Leah

No one can prepare you for a loss; it comes like a swift wind. A person that leaves this earth never truly leaves, for they are still alive in our hearts and minds, through us, they live on. May fond memories of your Mom bring you comfort during this hard time in your life. Look back on all the good memories you were able to have and to forever hold in your heart. Wishing you peace, comfort and courage to face the days ahead. Love,
