Susan, Cathy, Anita and Jen: Thinking of you and your family during this very difficult time. Your dad was such a kind, gentle man and he will be remembered fondly. I have lovely memories of our time on Plymouth, and smile when I think of events such as Jim in costume performing Santa duty. Hugs to you all.

To Anne and the entire McKinnon family: Please know that Jim was one of the finest media colleagues with whom I ever had the privilege to work. His character , work ethic, sense of humour and ability to bring people together in a team effort were second-to-none. And I will always be grateful for his confidence in me! Jim was one of the best! My thoughts and prayers are with you. Blessings, Gary Alan Price

Dear Susan, Paul and family, My sincerest condolences on the loss of your Dad. When Wayne and I first moved in to Plymouth Avenue, your dad and mom became our closest neighbours in more than just proximty. Your Dad mentored Wayne on the art of landscaping and he set the bar high for maintaining a beautiful backyard. And he was always cheerful, friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed both his company and his friendship. Wayne and I over the years had enjoyed that same friendship with your family, and your support for me over the past few difficult years has been invaluable and so much appreciated. My heart and prayers go out to you and your family, and to Anne and jim's extended family. He was a god man and it was a pleasure to have called him friend. My heartfelt condolences, Mary Brand Neighbour and Friend

Dear Susan, So sorry to hear about the passing of your Dad. I can't even tell you how many times that station wagon pulled up to my house and there was your Dad in the driver's seat with a cheery hello and willingness to drive us anywhere, anytime. I felt like he was our personal uber taxi for so many adolescent years! However, more noteworthy, he was truly an Uber Dad to you, Cathy, Anita and Jennifer and there was nothing he wouldn't have done for his girls. My sympathy to all the family on your loss of a very kind and caring man. With love, Colleen and family.

Dear Anne My prayers are with you, and call me if you need something. Your Jim was a wonderful kind and generous man.He will be missed by all of us. much love Greta

Dearest Anne, My sincere sympathies to you and all the family. Although we have only known Jim in his later years, we came to appreciate his humour and dedication to all he did. He will be sadly missed in the community of 2 Cadeau Terrace. I will keep you and the family in my prayers and thoughts at this difficult time. Marie

Jim was a craftsman whose work at CFPL-TV set a standard for others. I worked with him countless times and his contribution to any skills I developed for television came because Jim told me and showed me how it should be done. For many Christmas shows at Central initially with Phil Murphy then Gwyn Beynon and the Encore Band; Jim was the real producer who pulled them all together. Later we were to commiserate with each other at Dr. Patrick's Cardiac Fitness Centre at Victoria Hospital campus. We'd see each other frequently there and his humour and cheerfulness were inspiring. To Anne and all the family I extend my sincere condolences and know that Jim left a vital legacy to TV, his community and so many friends.
