Margaret Eva Dollard
May 24, 2015
Peacefully on Sunday, May 24th, 2015 at Parkwood Institute, in her 83rd year. Beautiful wife and best friend of Terry for 60 years. Marg’s smile and beautiful personality will be missed by her son Greg (Linda) and by her daughter Kelly (Boris Ziger), and by her grandchildren: Ryan, Matthew, Katie and Chris. Predeceased by her parents John and Alma Aineskorpi, and by her sister Eila. Margaret was a lifelong oil and watercolour artist, donating most of her work to charitable causes; she was a graduate of the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto and participated in many fundraising concerts at Massey Hall; and was an elementary school teacher in the Toronto system. But first and foremost, Marg relished her role of mother and grandmother, raising her two children in a warm and loving atmosphere, and then being actively involved with her 4 grandchildren. She was a person of strong faith and, in moments of contemplation, talked about meeting another great love of her life – her Saviour. Marg’s family appreciates the kindness and support of Dr. Ian Chin Yee, nurses Susie and Myra, and all of the staff at the L.R.C.P. The tender care shown by the nursing staff at the Palliative Care Ward in Wing 5A East at Parkwood Institute provided calm and peace in her final days and hours. Friends will be received on Thursday from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the funeral service will be conducted on Friday, May 29th, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Margaret’s memory to the Palliative Care Unit at Parkwood Institute would be most appreciated.

Uncle Terry, Greg, Kelly and family; I was so saddened when Dad phoned last night to tell me about Aunt Marg. She was a wonderful person whom I vividly remember as kind, cheerful and so very caring. It has been years since I have visited but my memories will always hold a special place for her. It is my hope to be with Dad on Friday, but should I not make the trip, please know that my heart is with your family at this time. Our best to you all in these difficult days.
