Dear Alan, We were so sad to hear about your Mom's passing. She was a wonderful person and will be greatly missed. Due to other commitments we won't be able to attend the funeral but will be thinking of you. Hope all goes well. Keep in touch. Remember the good times. Ruth Ann
Dear Alan; We will miss your mother. She was a lovely lady and a dear sweet friend for life to our mother, Margaret McEwan (Hiles). She promised mom that she would call us on our birthdays once mom passed away in 2008, which Peg did, until just recently. We enjoyed our visits with Peg on our once yearly trek to London. We would remember days years ago when the Burroughs' and the McEwan's would get together and have great fun, and she talked of going to school with mom in Scotland and their teenage years together. We look forward to visiting with you and taking you to your favourite fish and chip restaurant in April when we make the trek to London again. Be Brave. Remember your mom is resting with your dad and Richard in eternal peace. Mary
Alan: Our thoughts and prayers are with you on the loss of your mother who was such an amazing woman. Joanne
Peggy lived in the apartment below me. She was the first one to welcome me to 695. She came up with a dish of muffins. We had a chat then and many more in the parking lot. Our cars were side by side. So, we had many nice visits there. Had a few chats with Alan as well. My sympathy to the family. Sincerely, Hilda

Aunt Peg was a lovely lady and we have very fond memories of her when she visited us in Scotland and when we visited her at her home in Canada. Our thoughts are with Alan and the family.
We met Peg and Steve and their family at Greenbrier Church in Brantford many years ago. They were so personable and kind and despite the passing years, we occasionally would meet us with Peg and Alan and touch base. She was a wonderful, graceful lady and despite her family losses was always keenly interested in the comings and goings of the Greenbrier families and her special card-group friends. She embodied all the best qualities, and Alan will miss her terribly. Ed & June

Dear Alan, Please accept my deepest sympathy in the loss of your Mother. I so enjoyed our times together when you two travelled with me at Ilderton Tours. I always enjoyed your company. Your Mother was a lovely lady and she loved you so very much. Hold her memories close and when you close your eyes picture that little sparkle she always had in her eyes. She will be missed and never forgotten. Linda
