Peacefully at Parkwood Hospital, London, on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at 83 years of age. Predeceased by his loving wife Patricia. Loved dearly by his eight brothers and sisters. Father of three, step-father of two and Pépé to his grandchildren. John was in business for many years known to most as “the old guy from Blue Mountain Foods”. The memorial service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Monday, October 6, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit at Parkwood Hospital.

With my deepest sympathy to the family my husband Ed Lamoureux was a former partner with John at Marc Central Foods.
Our prayers and thoughts are with you all with the passing of Uncle Johnny. May the memories of his life comfort you during this sorrowful time.
I met John back in the Mark Central Food days. Haven't seen him in over a year. Played many games of golf with him years ago. We have lost one of the nicest guys I ever met. Condolences to the family.
I will miss you Uncle John, for your warm and sincere way you had in listening and caring to what as a young child I had to say! Of course your twinkling blue eyes and charisma won me over as well. Will remember the fun we had with summer visits to the bowling alley...rest peacefully, love Karen
