Uncle Pat...my favourite story teller. Where do we go when we die? To other peoples' memories to be sure. Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there. I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn’s rain. When you awaken in the morning’s hush, I am the swift uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry; I am not there. I did not die.
Dear Jackie and family, I loved working with Pat at the Soup Kitchen! His practical, irreverent, generous, comical approach to clients , volunteers, and situations was a delight! He was an ordinary man who made an extra-ordinary impact on the people in his life. God Bless, Diane Drouillard Volunteered at Soup Kitchen
So many memories of our dear friend Patrick. He loved everything Irish, especially the music. Was a great friend for so many years - a kind, loving, generous man with a heart of gold. No doubt he is looking down on us from Heaven and will be missed terribly by his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
