Peacefully passed Sunday, April 13, 2014 at Victoria Hospital, in his 89th year. Beloved husband of 68 years and best friend of Ruth Elizabeth (Marston). Loving father of David (Dora), Terry (Dianne), and Kim (Carol). Cherished Poppi to his many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survived by his sisters Margaret (Jack) Roberts and Jean Walch. Bill was a proud Navy Veteran of WWII, serving overseas for 3 years. Ruth would like to express her sincere gratitude to the medical staff, family and friends for their outstanding care and support. Cremation has taken place, followed by a private family service. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Palliative Care Unit at Victoria Hospital would be appreciated.

Great photo Carol & family. That is how I would have pictured Poppi....enjoying a game with family around the table. Only thing missing is the wine! A toast to a great man.
