Raymond Gerald Ward

Peacefully, with family by his side, on Monday, April 7th, 2014, at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital, Raymond “Ray” Gerald Ward, of St. Thomas, and formerly of London, at the age of 77.  Beloved husband of Emily.  Much loved father of Natalie Evans (Shawn), Tim, Pam Boal (Joe), Darrell, and Gerald (Teresa).  Cherished grandfather of Samantha Evans, Nicholas, Vanessa and Gregory Ward, Shane Langley and Andrea Boal, Melissa, Raymond and John White, and Terry, Stephanie and Chris Ward, and many great grandchildren.  Dear brother of Alvin Ward.  Predeceased by parents James Ward and Elizabeth Borisenko, and by his brother Bertie Allison.  Visitation will be held on Thursday from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m., and on Friday from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. at  WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the funeral service will be conducted on Friday, April 11th, 2014 at 3:00 p.m.  Cremation to follow at Woodland Cemetery.  Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Ray are asked to consider the London Health Sciences Foundation – Cancer Centre, Brain Cancer Research.
