PICKARD, Jean (Wilson) – Peacefully surrounded by her family at University Hospital, on Monday, February 24, 2014, Jean Pickard of London in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Claude Pickard. Loving mother of Michael of London; Dave (Julie) of Uxbridge and predeceased by her daughter Barbara. Dear mother-in-law of Darrell Pomfret of Hamilton. Also loved by her grandchildren Erin (Nathan), Jameson, Kathleen, Brandon (Alanna) and great-grandchild Braden. Sister of George (Jeanne) and sister-in-law of Sharon. Predeceased by brother Fred, sister Mary and granddaughter Julia. A special thank you to the Neurology Team on the 7th floor for their professional and loving care. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, where the memorial service will be conducted on Wednesday, February 26th, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior. Cremation has taken place. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Jean are asked to consider the London Health Sciences Foundation – Cancer Centre.

Dave and Family....so sorry to hear of your loss. Thoughts and prayers are with you in this difficult time
Dave and Julie and to the entire Pickard family. On behalf of our Ciccolini and Corby families here at Masters Insurance, we extend our sympathies at the loss of your mother. 94 years makes it all that much harder to say goodbye but somehow we know that given the wonderful family that she obviously created... she'll live on in memories. Peace and comfort will hopefully come to you all in time and I'm sure you're already celebrating her long wonderful life. We only know Dave but can say that if the statement holds true that the 'apple doesn't fall far from the tree'... then Jean must have been a wonderful person as Dave's character and integrity as a person has always been admired by our office and families.
