Jack White

Born in Birmingham, England, Jack passed away peacefully at Victoria Hospital, in London, on Wednesday, February 5th, 2014, at the age of 83.  Jack leaves behind his wife Mavis, the love of his life for 59 years.  He was proud of his family:  Kevin and Peggy, and their children Craig and his wife Kate; and Mark, Terrie and Brad Keating, and their children Amanda and her husband Jason Reynaert and baby Poppy, Travis and Ben, Russell and his wife Marcela and their children Nick and Simone.  Jack was a past member of the Glencoe and Ajax Lions Club and a member of the Canadian Legion.  He spent time wood carving and was creative with carving flowers and Jack also enjoyed singing.  A gathering of family and friends will be held at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Sunday, February 9th, 2014 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.  A private family burial will be conducted at a later date.  The family sincerely thanks the staff of C5300 at Victoria Hospital for their care and compassion.  Donations in Jack’s memory may be made to the London Health Sciences Foundation.

Mavis and family, sorry to hear of Jack's passing he was such a wonderful and fun loving person when we would be camping with you, he will be missed by so many...hugs.

Russ & Marcela - very sorry to learn of Jack's passing. I remember meeting him a number of times while we were in high school. I particularly remember the ingenious oven he manufactured out of a cardboard box, tinfoil and a single 100w light bulb. He used this device to cook his lunch while working construction sites as an electrician. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
