Rosemary Evelyn Fraser (née Case)
November 3, 2013
Passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 3rd, 2013, at her residence with her loving husband Bill by her side, in her 79th year. Dear mother of Margo, of Calgary, Steven (Marli), of Dallas and Janet, of London. Beloved Nana of Jamie, Rowan and Hero. Survived by sister Lucile Vigrass, of Cobden. Predeceased by 3 brothers: Leon, Gerald and Louis. Born in Rockglen, Saskatchewan, Rosemary made the trek from “the dust bowl” to Southern Ontario. She graduated from Petrolia District High School where she excelled in athletic activities: notably track and field and basketball. Later she became an active curler in Ottawa and New Liskeard. Rosemary was also very involved with figure skating serving as a board member of both the Huntsville and Ilderton Skating Clubs, in addition to becoming a rated C.F.S.A. competition accountant. An avid bridge player, she held a Life Master rating in the ACBL. Rosemary was noted for maintaining a cheerful disposition and sunny outlook which inspired others. She will be greatly missed by her family and by all who knew her. As did her parents, Rosemary has donated her body to the University of Western Ontario. Rosemary’s life will be celebrated at a public memorial service at ST. MARTIN-IN-THE-FIELDS ANGLICAN CHURCH, 489 Pinetree Drive, London on Saturday, November 9th, 2013 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. and with a reception following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations in Rosemary’s memory to the Arthritis Society would be greatly appreciated.

Very sad news.- Rosemary certainly suffered more than most through her life. Without a husband as caring as you, I'm sure it would have been much more difficult for her to remain positive - to keep her smile, to enjoy her family, her bridge, her skating. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Don and Carol......Victoria, BC
