Peacefully, on Saturday, November 2nd, 2013, with his family by his side at University Hospital, in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Kathleen “Bonnie” (née Wales) for 58 years. Loving Dad of Karn (Mitch) Schurmans, Brad (Denise) and Andy (Kim). Proud Grandpa of 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Dear brother-in-law of Glenna Madsen and Grant (Lucy) Wales. Predeceased by his brother Jon. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be conducted at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Tuesday, November 5th, 2013 at 3:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior. Private family interment at a later date at Siloam Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Eric are asked to please consider the Kidney Foundation or ReForest London.
