FORD, Viola “Marion” (nee Salmon) – Peacefully at University Hospital on Tuesday, September 17th, 2013 in her 97th year. Beloved wife of the late Arnold Ford (1984). Loving mother of Kenneth Ford, Nina (Richard) Stanwick, Douglas Ford (Pam Mulley) and Donald (Nancy) Ford. Dear grandmother of Jason Stanwick, Lindsey Ford and Kyle Ford. Remembered by Sheila and family. Survived by sister Kathleen Campbell, brother Morley (Joan) Salmon and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sister Dorothy Sutherland. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the funeral service will be conducted on Friday, September 20th, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Marion are asked to consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, Canadian Diabetes Association, or St. George’s Anglican Church.

Our condolences for the loss of your Mother & Grandmother. My family has been neighbours with the Fords for many years. She was a sweet woman. She was also quite a dynamo. She will be fondly rememberd.
