Went home to be with his Lord on August 1, 2013. Ernest, constant companion and husband of Amelia, devoted father of Gillian (John Tyler) and the late Ann (Guy Bianchini), enthusiastic storytelling grandad of Mark (Ladonna), Tim (Shelley), Megan (Tom Lumley) and Ian (Nichole) Habinski; and Jonathan (Susan), Maybeth (Peter Goedegebuure) and Dan (Amy) Tyler, and adoring great-grandad of Jayden, Nina, Lily, James, Robin, Matthew, Emily, Bethany, Lauren, William, Maybeth, Emily, Abby, Brianna, Simone, Drew, Ainsley and Katelyn. D-Day Veteran (Queen’s Own Rifles). Longtime Deacon, Park Lawn Baptist Church. Retired from Canada Post. Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 10, 2013, at Grace Bible Chapel, Parkhill, ON. Special thanks to Dr. Andrew Whynot, and the caring staff at Craigwiel Gardens.
