Peacefully, surrounded by his family, at Victoria Hospital on Friday, July 26th, 2013, in his 72nd year. Beloved husband of Elspeth for 49 years. Loving father of Janet (Mark) Sauson. Dear brother of John (Jean) and Grace Green, and brother-in-law of Janette Rigg, Robert (Joyce) McAdam and James (Yvonne) McAdam. He will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers-in-law Walter Green (2012) and George Rigg (2010). Sincere thanks to the staff at the Critical Care Trauma Center at Victoria Hospital for their special care. Visitation will be held on Monday from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, July 31st, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Woodland Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Tommy are asked to consider the Kidney Foundation of Canada.

I was saddened to hear of "Uncle Tommy's" passing. It had been too many years since I had seen him. I have very fond memories and there is a certain phrase that I remember him most for. Remembering him saying it always puts ( and will always put) a smile on my face. He was such a joker but at the same time, quite a kind soul! I know he will be greatly missed. RIP Uncle Tommy xoxo
