My deepest sympathy at this time - for a man with a life well-lived, and well-loved by many. I will remember his dedication to the Holiday Inn men's slopitch team in the 70's.
Donnie was ageless, always a smile and that whistle! A very giving man..remember the chocolate Easter bunnies from the Kiwanis Club? He'll always have a part in the history of these walls...we'll miss him.
Donnie, your family at Mount Hope will miss you every day. The hallways here and at St Josephs will not be the same.
When we lost my father-in-law, my daughter was asked was his life a success. That seemed an odd question. The answer we gave describes Donnie....Yes, he touched many and enriched all those who came incontact with him. Well, lived Donnie, you will be missed.
I'll miss Donnie at the London Knights games. R.I.P. Don
Donnie, It was a pleasure to care for you while I was at mount hope. Your smile and laugh lit up the room, your willing to lend a hand in many diffrent areas and circumstances was so inspiring. You will be dearly missed at mount hope and by the many many people whos lives youve touched, mine included. RIP my friend.
I have known Donnie my whole life ,as he was a great friend of my Dad Peter Kusk,I remeber him coming over the Quebec St Bridge ,bringing my sister ,brother and me treats ,he was like an Uncle to us and we loved him dearly ,then when I grew up to work at mount hope ,he was a resident there and I bought Easter bunnies off him for my kids ,party with him at all the festivals that were going on in london ,he was there ,I will truly miss him and never forget him ,I would love to continue to sell the chocolate bunnies for ihm if that is possiable to do >thanks
Definitely missed, always good for a laugh ! You and Jim Dickins drove me crazy at times the way you two bantered back and forth, trying to one up each other! Someone else mentioned the Kiwanis club Easter bunnies-they were Lions club Easter bunnies, you actually tried to sell me one when I was in the Lions club, while I was loading my 2 cases into the car! That one still makes me laugh out loud every time I think of it. You may be gone, but you will not be forgotten, say "Hi" to Jim for me, I'll see you guys on the flip side. Till we meet again...R.I.P.
Rest in peace, Donnie. Folks a Mount Hope will miss seeing you every day.
Hi Donnie, you will be missed. Love you lots. Your friend, Marilyn Nagle
Donnie lived his life to the fullest and taught the rest of us that no matter what life throws at you, make the best of it. He was a daily reminder and inspiration to everyone around him of the power of a positive attitude. I'll never forget that about him .. and his unwavering faith in his beloved London Knights. This one's for you, Donnie-- Go Knights Go!
I am so very sorry for the loss of Donnie. I knew him for many years. He would come to the baseball games in Mornington Park. Whenever I would run into him he always had a smile for me. What a great loss.
I first met Donnie when I had my children at St. Joe's many years ago, he always came around the unit with the Free Press.... and he always made me laugh. I will miss seeing him around town and at the Knights games, he was a true fan!!! GO KNIGHTS GO!!
Donnie was like a "St. Joe's greeter". I'd see him every morning that I went to work and he would always be the first to see hello and always with a smile. St. Joe's won't be the same without him.
