Catharina Margaretha Bari

On Saturday, June 29, 2013, at University Hospital, Catharina Margaretha Bari in her 76^th year.  Much loved mother of Suzan, Catherine and Dianna.  Dear sister of Bernard, Alice, Renie and George.  Predeceased by parents Jan and Dirkje Haayer and siblings Johanna, Dina, Eldert and Jack.  Most dear friend of Olaf, Barb, Nancy, Delana and Mary.  A special thank you and debt of gratitude to Olaf for all of his caring and support to our mother and family.  Thank you to the Emergency and ICU staff at University Hospital for their kindness and compassion.  Catharina was a social butterfly who made friends wherever she went with her cheery smile and wonderful sense of humour.  She will be so missed.  She was a kind and compassionate nurse’s aide and often took residents for a day’s outing.  She spoiled her family with her mouth-watering desserts and home cooking.  We know you are with your loving family, indulging your sweet tooth and once again healthy and walking.  Cremation has taken place and family will gather later in July for a graveside interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery to honour Catharina’s life.  Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Animal Outreach or Animalert would be appreciated.
