Carson Robert McGill

Passed away peacefully on January 2nd, 2013 in his 76th year after a long battle with Alzheimer Disease. Carson is survived by his mother Catherine (nee Fowler) and predeceased by his father James (1989). He is predeceased by his loving devoted wife, Doris (2004) and by his son Cary (2011). Survived by his daughter Karen (late Greg Clark 2012), Blaine (Tanya) and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Carson drove professionally until 1996 for many transportation companies including Texaco, Labatt and the London Transit Commission. The funeral service will be conducted at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Saturday, January 5th, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior. Private family interment at a later date at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Carson are asked to consider the Alzheimer Society.

Our condolences to Carson's family. I knew Carson the years he worked at Texaco when we all loaded at Sunoco. Carson was a good friend.
On behalf of Mum (Blanche McNutt) and myself, we wish to extend our sincere sympathy in the passing of Carson. We certainly enjoyed his visits to Nova Scotia over the years and missed those visits when he could no longer travel. Carson and Doris were so kind to us when we visited with them many years ago and they took us on a trip to the Niagara Falls which I had never seen before then.
To Carson's Family: I want to express sympathy in the loss of Carson..For many years,Carson, Doris and the McGill and Lynds families were patients/friends at the dental office..Because we all had Nova Scotia roots,I always welcomed our many conversations..Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all today..I send special hugs to Karen and Blaine..Dawn Cumming.

RIP dear ole friend I just got this in notifications from ATU today So sorry you have left us I know you will be missed dearly by all of us and condolences to your family you have left behind . I was fortunate enough to have met and worked with you at London Transit You were always smiling and happy and I enjoyed your friendship God Bless.
