Ross Hirschleber

On Friday, December 7th, 2012 at Parkwood Hospital, of London and formerly of Burlington, in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of the late Laurine. Predeceased by his parents Winand and Edna Hirschleber, his sister Madeline Tales and his dear friend Jean Campbell. Uncle of Bill Tales and his wife Heather. Great uncle of Keegan and Nicholas Tales and Keelia Morin (Richard). Great-great uncle of Arabella Morin. Fondly remembered by his extended family and friends. Ross was very active in sailboat racing and served terms as Rear Commodore and Vice Commodore of Royal Hamilton Yacht Club. He was a Charter Member of the Probus Club of Burlington. Ross was a veteran of World War II and a supervisor for 47 years with CN Rail. Private graveside service at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. If desired, memorial donations to Children’s Health Foundation or to L.H.S.F. – ALS Research would be appreciated.

I am so sorry to hear of Ross' passing. Ross was a dear friend of my grandmother, Jean Campbell. I am truly grateful for the friendship and time that they shared, reminiscing about their friends and loved ones. He was a true gentleman and it was an honour to know him.

Was sorry to hear of Ross's death.I had just heard he was at Parkwood and planned to visit him instead of sending a card .My husband Jack was a 1st cousin of Laurine and over the years we spent many happy times with Ross & Laurine.
