Kate and I didn't know Ed well, except for the few times that we met when he was accompanied by Art. On those occassions, he always had a great smile and quick wit about him. He was a business leader in this city, and he will be missed. Ed will be remembered by the work that he completed when he was with us. Our prayers and thoughts are with his family.
Dear Art and family, Sincere condolences in the loss of your father. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Michelangelo Buonarotti Sincere condolences to the Blumas family.

I fondly remember the many days and evenings at the Blumas home on Tennant Crt and particularily how welcome Mr. and Mrs. Blumas made me feel. I always admired Mr. Blumas and loved that mischievious twinkle in his eye and wry sense of humour. I respected him for having persevered through the difficult times of his youth, before and during the war; and how he against the challenges of arriving in a new Canadian land, provided well for his family. Rest in peace Mr. Blumas. My heartfelt condolences to my dear friends Ron, Fred, Arthur and families. Sincerely Lawrence Elliott Toronto
My Condolences. Very sorry to hear this, and I'm sorry I can't be there to pay my respects. I will always remember Mr. Blumas as one of the "originals" who made our little street a great place to grow up as a kid. I wouldn't trade those memories for anything. My thoughts are with you.
