William Geoffrey Steel

William Geoffrey Steel, age 82 of London, passed away on Friday, November 30th, 2012. Geoff was born in Manchester, England on October 29th, 1930 and was the only child of James and Brenda (Dick) Steel. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 55 years, Jacqueline; son David; daughter Sally; son-in-law Bill; and granddaughter Emma. Geoff will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by his nieces, cousins, his life-long friends, Ernie and Doreen Edge, of England, and by all his family and friends. A special thank you to Evangeline Bajamundi for her love and care, Dr. Kirk Hamilton and the wonderful physicians and nurses at University Hospital. The memorial service will be conducted at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Wednesday, December 5th, 2012 at 1:30 p.m., with visitation one hour prior to the service. Private family interment of ashes at Oakland Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Geoff are asked to consider the Alzheimer Society.
