It is with the greatest love and honour that we announce the peaceful passing of our precious Mum on Thursday, October 11, 2012. Surrounded with love, she went to join her dear husband Jim and their son Alan. Loving, gentle and kind mother of Stephen Priestley and Joanne and Harvey Weir. She will be greatly missed but forever in our hearts. A celebration of her life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion (Lucan), 136 Market Street, Lucan, on Saturday, October 20, 2012 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Winifred are asked to consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.

Jo and Harv, I am so sorry to hear your mom has passed away. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Anytime you need a friend - for a laugh or a tear - remember I am here for you.

I never met this woman but I know she was a great person,becouse I have met her daughter and she is a fine woman.The best friend you could ever ask for.I will miss you mum just for your daughters sake.
We are both thinking of you at this sad time. Your mom was a great lady.

Joanne and Harvey: I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. Debbie contacted me to pass the details on. May the fond memories of your Mom help bring you some comfort at this difficult time. Also wanting to mention , the picture of your Mom looks just like how I remember her, she hardly changed and had that lovely smile that showed she loved life. Thinking of you!
