Peacefully on Thursday, August 23, 2012, Albert Edward French passed away at Strathroy-Middlesex General Hospital in his 87th year. Cherished husband of Beth (Lankin) French for 64 years. Loving father of Doug (Roberta) French, Darlene (Ron) French and Lucille French. Predeceased by his son Peter (1963). Grandfather of 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Albert served with the London Board of Education for over 36 years. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, where the funeral service will be conducted on Monday, August 27th, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Private interment, Woodland Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Albert are asked to consider the Alzheimer Society of London and Middlesex. A special thank you to the wonderful staff at Strathmere Lodge and Strathroy Hospital for their care and support.

Doug and Bobbi , we are so sorry to hear about your Dad. Sorry we are unable to be there with you.Please know you both are in our thoughts. Just remember he is at peace now.Remember all the good times that you spent together-these memories are something you will have forever.
