Barbara and family, we are so sorry about Roy's passing, although we did not get to know him well, he seemed like an amazing man. We know what he meant to Laura, he treated our daughter as his own, for that we truly grateful and we will miss not getting to know him. Our thoughts are with all of you at this time.

Roy, Barbara, Gillian and Tim, Our families have shared so many great memories, I don't even know where to start. Roy would always be so enthusiastic and friendly talking around the dinner table. He was always a great conversationalist. You could always count on Roy to help you out with a problem or make up a broken machine part for you if you were in a jam. We will miss Roy terribly, but will always remember the good times spent together, especially every Christmas Eve. Rest in Peace Roy. You were a good man. Love Stuart and Lisa Gordon

A dearly loved brother and uncle. Roy was the sort of big brother anyone could wish to have. We might have been miles apart but he was always there to help or listen. We treasure all the chances we were able to share toghether, and my visit back in Novemberwill be cherished. Roy was so brave throughtout his illness but with the support of his family he must have been comforted immensely. A beacon of strength and a fine example to all who new him now at peace . Heartfelt love and sympathy to Barbara,Gillian and Tim.
