Please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of Wendell. My deceased husband Bob worked with Wendell and travelled the country with him while at London Life. They shared many adventures and good times together. I also knew Wendell when I worked at London Life. He was a fun person and I always enjoyed his classes. May your memories console you at this difficult time. Sincerely - Betty
Sincere condolences to the Davidson family at this difficult time. May Wendell's memory be for a blessing and may you find peace and comfort in all the memories you have of him.
The world is a much better place because of Wendell and the many lives he touched with wisdom and compassion. His guidance as a member of the Board of London Interfaith Counselling Centre (aka Daya Counselling) was insightful and inspirational throughout his years of service. Though he is deeply missed, his light and lessons live on. Thank you Wendell - Rest in Peace.
Wendell touched many hearts and lives during his life. He certainly had a long and lasting reach! Thoughtful and intelligent, he addressed all issues with compassion, and, when possible, an acerbic wit that cut to the chase and left us rolling with laughter. His volunteer work seemed to know no bounds and his sense of justice for all was broad and keenly balanced with his compassion. He was a very special man - he will be greatly missed. Deepest condolences to the Davidson family and friends.
From 1988 to 1994, as a Trainer in the Employee Benefits division and, to me, Wendell was the corner stone of “all things training” at London Life. I attended numerous “train-the-trainer” courses of which Wendell either oversaw, arranged, or presented with a never waning enthusiasm, wit, and a true desire for each of his trainees to be and do their best. An inspiration to many. My condolences.
I had the opportunity to work with Wendell for a summer in 1983 at London Life. As a graduating student from Western, I was keen to learn and Wendell gave me a chance to attend some of his training classes, help write some course content, and allowed me to present whereafter he provided me with some constructive feedback. He was a great teacher and mentor and I very much appreciated his guidance. My sincere condolences to his family.
To Wendell's friends and family, our deepest sympathies. We knew Wendell for two decades, and will miss his warm and wicked sense of humour. He was an inspiration to all who knew him. An exemplary Christian, a good friend, and a personal help to two fellow trainers. He will be sorely missed. We regret we cannot be there in person, but have sent words to be read at his memorial. I hope they raise fond memories for you.
Wendell was one of the first people to welcome me to London Life. He instantly made me at ease with his humor and personality. I attended many of his courses over the years and learned a great deal from him on how to be a better person. London Life became a better place to work because of him. Our condolences to the Davidson family. Wendell managed to help change the world for the better during his short stay here. I hope this will give you all some comfort in knowing this.
We were neighbours on Gardenwood Crescent for 8 years. When Wendell worked at London Life, he often drove me to work and we took care of the bird a few times when he was away. I am so sorry to hear of Wendell's passing so young. We will remember him as a kind-hearted man who was a fine neighbour and friend. He helped teach my kids (and us) about fairness and equality. He was so witty and we will remember him fondly. My deepest condolences to his family and all those who loved Wendell.
My deepest sympathies to the family of Wendell Davidson.I remember Wendall from his devotion as a staff member of Camp Wendake. Rest with the angels my friend. O SIEM
Wendell was a joy and inspiration. I was a "student" of Wendell at London Life and what I learned from him is with me today in all that I do. Wendell was a unique teacher, a role model and a real hoot. Peace.
My deepest condolences to the Davidson family. Once you met Wendell, you knew this was someone you would remember for life. He was a smart, insightful person committed to his craft...most of all...I will remember his quick wit and sense of humour.
My sincere condolences to Vivian, Brian and families. Having known Wendell for the past 12 years, he came to be my friend and mentor. He was always there when I needed to chat and through his inspiration and guidance, I was able to continue on my own life's journey. He will never be far from my thoughts.
To The Family of Wendell My deepest sympathy to you all on the passing of Wendell. He will be missed very much.
