Peacefully on Monday, July 18th, 2011 at University Hospital in his 74th year. Beloved husband of Marilyn (McFarlane) Nicotera. Loving father of Melinda Nicotera, Peter (Marcella) Nicotera, and Michelle Taylor, all of London. Dear grandfather of Rachel, Sarah and Kyara. Dear brother of Nella (Flaminio) Lavacca and Dan (Shelly) Nicotera, all of London. Survived by three nephews and one grand-niece. Known to many of his customers throughout London as “Tony the Barber”. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the funeral service will be conducted on Friday, July 22nd, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. (with visitation ½ hour prior). Interment to follow at Oakland Cemetery, London. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Antonio are asked to consider the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada. Dear Marilyn. I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your husband Tony. I hope you remember me, I spoke to you on the telephone around 2005. I pray the Lord give you and your loved ones peace at this time of great loss. Memories are beautiful things and I know you have many wonderful memories of Tony. God bless you and give you peace. Melinda, Michelle, Peter, & Marilyn, I just found out from Catherine, our neighbour, of your loss. I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. I remember all the great stories he used to tell about Italy, wine, and family stories. I enjoyed all our visits during our high school years.
