Surrounded by his family at University Hospital on Tuesday, April 19th, 2011, Albert Luistermans of London at the age of 95. Husband of the late Yvonne (nee Ronsyn). Beloved father of Yolande and her husband Ed Walter, and Jan Luistermans. Loving grandfather of Eric (predeceased), Karena, David and Jae. Many thanks to the Intensive Care Unit Staff and to Dr. Taylor and his team and also the nursing staff in the Coronary Care Unit, especially Donna. Visitation will be held on Friday from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, April 23rd, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Albert are asked to consider the Coronary Care Unit at University Hospital (L.H.S.F.) or the London Humane Society.

Dear Family Luistermans, Our sincere condolences on the death of your grandfather and father. Albert was a cousin of my grandfather Remi De Lange. They phoned each other regularly. I talked to him a few times. His Dutch was still very good. A few years ago, I received some letters and poems by him. We wish you a lot of courage! Greetings from Belgium Geert De Lange
