Dear Irma - so sad to hear that Russ passed away. Russ was a tremendous help and support to me while I was at LW, with the Bell Choir. He was always there to help and offer his encouragement. Russ was a true gentleman in every way and an inspiration. I loved watching you two together - dealing with whatever in your gentle, loving ways. He loved you so much. I remember watching Russ and you play games, spending time together. I remember Russ's sense of humour. My heart goes out to you in your loss - thinking of you, praying for you .....with my sincere sympathy......sending big hugs your way, Linda

Aunt Irma and all of the family.... we are truly saddened by the passing of Uncle Russ. He cared so much for you and his family and I hope the many years of memories will help you stay strong during this very personal time. We have many, many wonderful memories of our happy times together when we were kids. He was such a generous and warm individual and we will remember him fondly forever. Sincere sympathy is expressed to the McBeth family. Debbie and family: Your Dad (and Mom) were both always so welcoming to me in those early days at Western. Treated me like a second daughter. I remember your Dad's twinkling smile and warmth and caring nature, and how much he loved his family. Treasure the memories, time will ease the sorrow. Sincerely, Sue and Mark

My deepest condolences to the McBeth family upon the loss of such a kind and gentle man. Russ was the brave one who recommended me for my very first full time job. I had the benefit of working with him for 2 years at Multi Fittings in the early 70s. In the last couple of years, I was able to visit with him at Longworth while lunching with my Mom ... always smiling and welcoming. He will be missed.

Uncle Russ was a good uncle and spoken of well by all. And an intelligent man too, as measured by his being a good family man who cared for and looked after his family very well. Although at a distance, we will greatly miss Uncle Russel for his kind and generous disposition and his caring nature. God's richest blessings to all immediate family and friends.

I am a good friend of Debbie's and often heard her speak over the years of her father. From those conversations I realized what a lovely man he must have been. I think planting a tree in his honour is an appropriate tribute to a man who nurtured such a person as Debbie, and her brothers. Such a sad time for you Mrs. McBeth. Thinking of you all......Nancy

To the McBeth family, We had the good fortune of being in Russell's company on several occasions, and with each meeting we encountered his warmth, humor, and sense of welcome. Over the years Reid's love for his dad was evident in the way he spoke of him. Know that we have kept you and your entire family in our prayers. We know that this is a difficult time for all of you, but may the sorrow be lessened by your fond memories of Russell. Love, Joyce, Sam, Sara, Anna
