Jaeger, Friedrich (Fritz) – Passed peacefully, at home, on February 23, 2011 in his 86th year. Cherished husband of Reta. Beloved father of Dave, Mike (Pat), all of Vancouver, and Shelley (Brian) of St. Mary’s. Proud grandfather of Max, Mel (Dan), all of Vancouver, Laura (Brad), of London, Jen (Dan), of St. Mary’s, Jordie and Jamie, of London. Loving great-grandfather of Hannah and Katie. Sadly missed by his sister Marta and her family of Erlangen, Germany. Predeceased by three sisters. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date. WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL entrusted with arrangements (519-641-1793). Those wishing to make a memorial donation in memory of Fritz are asked to consider the charity of their choice.

Reta, Shelly, Dave and Mike, We are saddened to hear of our good friend Fritz reaching the end of his journey with us. We know he will carry on through the next stage, offering all that pass, a warm smile and a hearty laugh. And I'm sure a "warm 50" for anyone willing to join him. We have fond memories of Fritz. He could make a marshmellow roasted on a fire a gourmet treat. Please know you and your families are in our prayers during these sad times. Abby & Dale
Rheta and family, I was saddened to hear of Fritz's passing but from our conversations, understood that it was to come. If I may Rheta, I wanted to tell you that Fritz is my earliest memory at the Big V at Huron and Highbury. His smile was infectious and his heart was as big as his laugh. I remember the mischevious look on his face when he would tease the technicians on his regular visits. He will be missed by all his friends and family, but I will always be grateful for having known him. May God keep you in peace and hold up your family during this difficult time.
