I was very lucky to get to know Helen through my Grandpa Ed. She was a very wonderful lady with a very big heart, she came numerous times to see my mom when she was sick in the hospital, and we enjoyed having her at all thebaby and bridal showers. Helen was also there to take care of my Grandpa when he was sick, it takes a very special person to do that and our famlily was very grateful for all the time and care she gave. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends during this sad time she will be very missed. Melanie & Josh

Dear Bob, Doug & Family: My Mom & I had the distinct pleasure of meeting your Mom at Del Manor just the week before Thanksgiving. She was so very pleasant, amiable and friendly. Mom was so looking forward to being able to visit more and we were both quite shocked when your Aunt Kay informed us of her sudden passing. (My Dad served on your Uncle Bill's aircrew in the RCAF and it was one of those amazing ways life has of connecting us all to meet Bill's twin sister. Perhaps even more strangely ironic is that the Fulford boys are named Robert and Douglas as well considering the odds) For your loss we extend our heartfelt condolences and sympathies. Mom and I both wanted you to know how wonderful it was to have met Helen if only for the shortest of time life would allow. May the warmest of memories bring you some measure of comfort through this difficult time.

Dear Bob, Stephanie, Jennifer and Kelsey, We send our most sincere sympathy to you all. We remember meeting Helen when we all bought our cottages in the fall of 1989. Nick and I commented on what a lady she was, always dressed so smartly with her hair perfectly done. We remember her there watching the sunsets from your original lakeside deck, Bob. In those early years we often had a wee visit. Please know we are thinking of you and your loss. On a clear night at the cottage you may see one star shining brightly for the one who will always be in your heart.
