We have known Hilda for over 30 years and have such fond memories. She was a kind and loving person and she will be dearly missed. Our condolences to Jack and the rest of her family. Rest in peace Hilda and God Bless You.
Aunt "Hild" as she was known in our household was kind and loving person who was always interested in what was going with those she loved. She was never afraid to ream me out, if she felt I wasn't doing enough for my Mom, but was thrilled when I came to visit. She had knack for interior decorating that my mother envied and many a time I heard "Well I am waiting until Hilda can go shopping with me". Our sympathies, thoughts and prayers will be with you all over the next little while, but know that her "boys' were the light of Aunt Hilda's life, and although we have lost her, she will live on forever in our hearts.
The notice of Hilda's passing just came to our attention late this morning (Saturday, October 16) and we regret missing the visitation and service. We were "down the hall" neighbours of Jack and Hilda at SouthwestOne (597 Cranbrook Road) throughout the time they lived there. We very much miss Hilda's cheery, positive and thoughtful demeanor. Jack and Hilda were a wonderful couple whom we were indeed privileged to know. Our thoughts are with Jack and Hilda's family today.

Hilda's passing is a great loss to us all, especially her husband, my uncle Jack. Best friend to my Mother for over 70 years, and Aunt to me since before I was born. We shall miss her greatly, but will always remember the summer cottages we shared, and the good times together. My condolences to the rest of the family, as you go on without this very special person in your life.
