Albert Campbell
October 7, 2010
CAMPBELL, Albert (Bud) – It is with great sadness that the family of Albert (Bud) Campbell announce his death on October 7th, 2010 at the age of 86 at Parkwood Hospital. Bud died as he lived – quietly, gently and with great courage. Predeceased by his parents and brother Graham. He will be forever remembered by his loving wife of 64 years Kathleen (Kay). Loving father of Carol Sinnett (David) of Lake Cowichan, B.C.; Linda Phillips (Ralph) of London; and Dave Campbell (Dianne) of Putnam. Dear grandfather of Geoff (Joy) of Victoria, B.C.; Andrew (Amy) of Langley, B.C.; Scott (Cindy) of Hawaii; Christa (Greig) of Toronto; Ryan (Lisa) of Toronto; Ian of Vancouver, B.C.; Brad of London and great-grandfather of Liam, Nicole, Sofia, Amanda, Myles, Grace, Beckett and Silas. Remembered by sisters Irene Pfaff, June Blanchard and many nieces and nephews. Bud lived his entire married life in the house he built for his family and that was the beginning of many building projects he completed for family and friends. He worked at CIP for 46 years ending his career as General Foreman. In retirement, he became a skilled woodworker and his legacy includes three beautiful grandfather clocks he built for his children. He will be missed by the many members of Kay’s family and his dear friends Ian and Norah Hunter. Funeral Service will be held at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment to follow at Oakland Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Bud are asked to consider the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario. Heartfelt thanks to C.C.A.C., Veteran Affairs and the doctors and nurses at Victoria and Parkwood Hospitals, especially Jill, the music therapist at Parkwood.
