ROBERTS, Beatrice Louise (Kruegar) – Beatrice Louise (“Nanny”, “Beattie”) Roberts (nee Kruegar) in her 89th year, passed away at her home on Monday, October 4th, 2010. Loving wife of the late Douglas Roberts. Mother to Paul and his wife Ann, predeceased by her son Douglas Roberts. Proud Nan of Katie, Kelly (Jeff), and Abby (Andrew). Beattie loved her visits from her great grandsons, Robbie and Eddie. Survived by sisters Joyce Grasser (Ted) and Dorothy Woolner (Ken). Visitation will be held at the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, on Wednesday from 2 – 3 p.m. with a Memorial Service following at 3 p.m In lieu of flowers, donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or to LHSF – Cancer Centre would be greatly appreciated. To all the Roberts Family, Our sincere condolences to you all at this sad time. We have so many happy and fun memories of your dear Mother she was a special friend and neighbor to our family. Our deepest condolences to Beatrice's family. As Beatrice's neighbour, I am saddened by her passing. She was a joy to visit, to discuss past stories and updates of our neighbourhood and our families. I will miss talking and laughing with her. She spoke lovingly and was grateful for all the love and support she received from her close knit family. My heart has a hole as she will be missed by myself and my family.
