In her 90th year, Betty (McLeish) McLachlan, of London, Ontario, died peacefully Friday, January 6th, 2012, at Victoria Hospital.  Beloved wife of the late Ted McLachlan.  Loving mother of Paul (Coleen), of Toronto, and Anne, of London.  Treasured Grandma of Danyel and Nicole.  Predeceased by her sister Mary and brothers John and Alex.  Survived by sisters-in-law Joanne McLeish and Mary Farquhar, of London and numerous nieces and nephews.  Our thanks to all the medical staff on the 7th floor at Victoria Hospital and to her special caregivers Dawn-Marie and Sherry.  The funeral service will be conducted at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, on Thursday, January 12th, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will commence at 12:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m.  Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Betty are asked to consider the Salvation Army or Mission Services of London.

Pauline ClarkI had the privilege of sitting with Betty on a couple occasions while Anne had to be out.....Betty was a beautiful lady and even though she was in pain, she had a deep peace which only comes from our Lord. My sincere condolences and prayers go to Anne as well as Paul and his family. Anne....God in His mercy and faithfulness will be your strength now and always. He will never leave you or forsake you.
