Zerdin, Jozef

Zerdin, Jozef

September 26th, 2021

Peacefully passed on Sunday morning, September 26, 2021 at the age of 71 — his courageous spirit never dimming. Loving father of Sandie (Tony) and Joey (Wendy). Proud grandfather of Connor, Katja, Dylan and Wesley. Longtime partner of Janet. Dear brother of Danica, Stefan and the late Elizabeta. He will also be missed by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends all around the world. Joe was a hardworking man and always filled his life with experiences that brought him joy: fixing things, being around animals, spending time outside, and enjoying the company of friends and family. In turn, he reflected this joy back to the world. He shared his kindness, humour and positivity with everyone around him, always offering a story and his contagious smile. His family would like to thank the staff at LHSC and Parkwood Institute for their care and compassion. A visitation will be held at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. To register for the visitation, please click here: Registration page for the visitation of Jozef Zerdin on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. Graveside service will be held at Woodland Cemetery on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Jozef are asked to consider LHSC – Multi-Organ Transplant Program.

JozicaDear Joe. Thank you for our fantastic children. You will live on through our grandchildren. You touched many people's lives with your sense of humour and story telling. It is the laughter that I remember the most. You were such a hard worker and took pride in your trade. We sure did have some fun times in our younger years. Please give my mom and dad a hug. I am sure there was a big party for you when you got to Heaven. You can rest in peace now. xox Stara
