Ovens, Courtney Adrianne

Ovens, Courtney Adrianne

July 8th, 2021

Our shining star died on Thursday, July 8, 2021, in a tragic car accident that happened in the blink of an eye. Courtney was born on January 9, 1982, to her loving parents, Bill and Cathy Ovens. She was the sister and best friend of Wesley, and favourite granddaughter of Marion Scholer. Courtney is also survived by her soulmate, Bevin Henning; sister-in-law, Emily Lucyshyn; and nephew, Noah. Courtney had an effervescent personality and a pure heart. She cultivated many meaningful friendships during her life and will be sorely missed as an advocate to her friends. Always an animal lover at heart, she extended her kindness to several rescued cats over the years. Puppy “Izzy” will miss her playdates and walks in the woods exploring. Courtney will be fondly remembered for her ability to always reach out with love and support and to keep family bonds strong. She was and will always be loved unconditionally by her family. We feel so blessed to have had her for 39 years. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2021 from 1:00 – 2:45 p.m., at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where a funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Cremation to follow.
