Grant, Cary Lorne

November 30th, 2020

Passed away at University Hospital, London on Monday, November 30, 2020, at the age of 77. Beloved husband of the late Dora May Grant (née Sitts). Loving father of Darren Grant. Proud grandfather of Caitlyn and Kyle. Loved uncle of Kathy Smith. Predeceased by his sister Shirley Henderson and by his parents. After retiring from Bell Canada, Cary was very active with the Bell Pioneers, as well as organizing many tours and trips in his second career in the travel industry. He will be missed by those at Grand Wood Park Retirement Residence and by all who knew him. At Cary’s request, there will be no funeral service. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Cary are asked to consider SickKids Foundation.

Bob EatonCarey will be sadly missed by all of his friends and colleagues at Bell and those who have such great memories of the Golf Excursions that he arranged with detailed attention to everyone's needs. He was a kind, considerate, gentleman and we are all fortunate to have known and worked with him. Rest in peace Carey, we will miss you.

I worked with Cary here in London for a number of years on the 4th Floor of our Bell Building on Talbot St. Cary was easy to like, fun to work with and creative in his outlook on life.
