Doggart, Dorothy Lillian (née Potten)

Doggart, Dorothy Lillian (née Potten)

October 18th, 2020

February 23, 1934 – October 18, 2020

With her son and daughter by her side, Dorothy passed peacefully into the presence of her Saviour on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at McCormick Home, London, Ontario in her 87th year.

Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, Robert Doggart, in 2001, and her sister-in-law, Ruth Doggart, in 2019. She passionately loved her children, Scott (Catharine) Doggart and Kerry (Peter) Wilson, and was devoted to her grandchildren, Jason (Shari) Doggart, Rebecah (Rob) Wyllie, Jeremiah (Stephanie) Doggart, Bethanie Wilson, and Zachary Wilson. She was also the proud great-grandmother of Julia Doggart, Emily Doggart, and Harper Wyllie. She will be greatly missed by her sister, Grace Pace, her sister-in-law, Pauline Smith, and her nieces and nephews: Nora Pace, Julie Pace, William Frederick, Larry Frederick, David Frederick, and Wendy Frederick.

A lover of classical music, great literature, Nintendo gaming, crocheting, cross stitch, and American politics, Mom/Grandma has left us fun memories and dozens of wall hangings and blankets!

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of the Maple Unit at McCormick Home. Your love and compassion bestowed on Dorothy and all of us during her time with you was exceptional.

A memorial service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at 3:00 p.m., with visitation an hour prior. Registration is required to attend the memorial service at Westview Funeral Chapel.
