With family by his side, at Victoria Hospital, on Tuesday, January 7, 2020, Mr. Shane Carson, of London, passed peacefully at the age of 62. Beloved husband and best friend of Jan (Foster) for 47 years. Dear son of George (the late Hazel) Carson. Devoted and proud father of Geoff (Colleen), Scott (Amanda Zettel), Brent (Evan) and Dana Carson. Dear brother of Leslie (Ralph) Walker, Kelly (Garry) Berard and Jac (Billy) Carr. Brother-in-law of Jackie (Steve) Magnus. Cherished Poppa and best bud to Liam, Elowen, Makayla and Tyler. A visitation will be held on Friday from 2:00 ~ 4:00 and 7:00 ~ 9:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where a funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. Private family interment at Woodland Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Shane are asked to consider the London Regional Cancer Program.

Bill CooperI remember Shane firstly on tour in ireland what seems like an age ago now. My friend and also departed Kenny Nuzum introduced me to Shane as I was due to emigrate in the coming year. Over the next 5 years I got to know Shane and the one word that springs to mind is gentleman. A consumate thoroughly good bloke who I know everybody had great time for.
