Katie HendrickenI am greatly saddened at the passing of pastor Howard. He has been my pastor via the internet. I have been listening to his sermons repeatedly while going about my daily tasks as wife, mother and sister to others in the church of Christs. Whatever fruit my life may bear in the service of my Lord, a certain part belongs toHoward. I am happy for brother Howard, he is now with Jesus - wow! May we all follow his example in the faith and bring much joy and honour to the name of our God and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Thank youHoward, and thank you Lena, Jacob, Danny and Jonathan. Family Hendricken, Bern, Switzerland
Rick PlanttHoward came into my life during our studies at the University of Western Ontario in the engineering department (fall of 1975 to spring 1979). Somewhere in the later years of our studies Howard, or "Howie" as I knew him, came into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The change was noticeable! When I heard of Howie's passing through my son who resides in London and is a believer, I was both saddened and yet greatly rejoiced. I rejoiced because after all these decades Howie was still going forward and faithful to His Lord. Many start well but finish poorly. Howie, you finished well! Praise God for your steadfast and faithful witness. Even though we mourn your loss, we rejoice that you are in the presence of your Lord and Savior. My wife and I will continue to pray for Howie's family and church as you continue in His faithful service. 1 Corinthians 15:58 Rick & Bente Plantt

Garry and Carol MoonWhen we met Howard Katz many years ago we knew we were being touched by someone very special. In particular, Garry experienced the joy of sharing considerable one on one time with Howard. Their friendship was founded on a mutual and abiding love for their Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Just as their love and understanding of their Lord and Saviour will continue to grow on a daily basis, so too will their love and understanding of one another continue to grow. On a deeply personal level, Garry faced a complex medical procedure three or four years ago which the doctors feared might claim his life. He asked Howard to please conduct his funeral if the doctor’s fears were realized. Without hesitation Howard agreed to do so. But Howard has now been called home first. He is with our Lord and, I know after a brief respite, his work will continue. So rest awhile my dear friend. I can hardly wait to greet you in our new place with a giant hug, a lingering smile and an eagerness to continue The Lord’s work. Love ya!!

Robert and Trudy Reid Howard possessed a mature but unpretentious faith. Humbly shared from the pulpit, it could be complex yet understandable but in everyday life, it was expressed with authenticity, grace and love. Full of the joy of the Lord, he was a pastor and shepherd whose greeting was a broad smile and a warm hug. Our sincere condolences to the entire family.
