Book of Condolences

Pastor Jason SnelgroveI enjoyed my visits with Audrey at McCormick Home where I serve as Chaplain. We spoke often of our native England. My deepest sympathies go out to you and your family. May God give you the peace that you seek.
Henry EastabrookI am saddened to hear of Audrey's death. She was a wonderful presence at our Health Outreach Program where she volunteered dedicatedly for many years. Audrey touched the lives of a great number of highly vulnerable Londoners with her positivity, grace and compassion. I know I am among a great many people who feel very fortunate to have known Audrey - she was a truly remarkable person.
Cindy EngelOur deepest sympathy to Matt and family, you are all in our thoughts and prayers Cindy, Wendy Jennifer, Rhonda
Ted TownKindness, humility and a quick wit: that's how I will remember Audrey. She was one of my favourite volunteers at our Health Centre.

Jan ShkilnykTo all of you...Audrey was a role model as a nurse, her intellect and quick wit made for many times of laughter. I admired her style, her love of all of you, the compassion she showed at the health centre to those facing dark times...my girls and I will especially remember the Christmas's at the coffee house...being together...sharing in helping others. It has been a privilege. May she rest in peace and be forever in our hearts.
The London InterCommunity Health CentreAudrey volunteered at the London InterCommunity Health Centre for 17 years! She sorted our clothing donations and distributed them to clients. Audrey had a unique understanding of all our clients needs, styles, likes and dislikes. She got to know each client on a personal level and always knew just which donation our clients would get excited about and feel proud wearing. She understood the complexities of their lives and how her small gesture of kindness really made a big difference. Audrey always knew who was going to the hospital for a procedure and ensured they had clean clothing, pajamas, and slippers to wear during their stay. She prepared backpacks for the parents when their children were going back to school. Our clients knew Audrey well and she had a great relationship with them. On the days when Audrey would get on the City bus and realize she forgot her bus tickets, our clients would always share their spare tickets with her. She had given them so much, they were happy to help her in return. Her sense of humour, wit, and humility will always be remembered by the staff and clients at the Health Centre.

Karen LaingTo Audrey’s family, I am so sorry for your loss. I knew her from the Health Centre as so many of us did. She always was kind and giving to the clients there and as we knew sometimes it was a challenge. After I had left the Centre I would run into her often as we lived near each other and she would always asked about my mother and my boys, always caring. She will be missed RIP.
