Howe, Marion Albertha

Howe, Marion Albertha

May 28th, 2019

Peacefully, on Tuesday, May 28, 2019, Marion Albertha (Noble) Howe of London in her 82nd year. Best friend and partner of Ralph Johnston.  Dear mother of Carole and David Stinson, and Rob and Caroline Howe.  Beloved grandmother of Gray and Micaela Stinson, Madeleine Stinson, and Amelia, Eva and Julia Howe.  Daughter of the late George and Verna Noble. Sister of Bob and Margaret Noble, Larry and Sharon Noble, and David and Ruth Noble. Aunt of many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by Rob and Carole’s father Bob Howe; sister Marjorie Crosby; brother-in-law Ted Crosby; brother Gordon Noble; sisters-in-law Betty Anne Noble and Pat Lowe; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Bill and Marie Howe; and friend Jim Haggith.  Marion was artistic, kind, generous and possessed a quiet inner-strength.  During her lifetime, she re-invented herself many times: from fashion model to administrative work at Kellogg’s as a young woman, to wife, mother and homemaker, jewellery-maker and entrepreneur, student and grandmother.  She took pride in the many years she worked at Kingsmill’s and had many friends.  Marion faced her sudden illness with bravery, grace and love.  A private burial will take place.  Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, please consider a memorial donation to the CNIB or Diabetes Canada, chosen by Marion to honour her parents.

Syd & Hazel KhanOur sincere sympathy to Ralph and all of Marion’s family for the loss of this lovely lady.
Lynn Kirk I just found out today when I met Ralph in Westmount mall. This was the venue where I met Marion around 2006 or 2007. My parents, Norm and Evelyn Kirk introduced me to her, and all of us met for coffee after that on a regular basis. My mother often remarked “I really like Marion. She is so calm.” I think my mother always felt better after a chat with Marion. I liked Marion a lot too (she was a real friend). I was going to phone her today to see if “she and Ralph would be at the mall, “ as I was in London for a couple of days. instead I thought I’d just pop around and see if they were there. I found Ralph sitting there by himself, and when he told me, I simply didn’t want it to be true. She will be greatly missed by so many...i send love to all family members. know I am thinking of you and wishing you strength as you recover from this huge loss Lynn Kirk
