Nancy HanlonI had the privilege of working for Alex directly for a few years. One couldn’t have asked for a better boss. He was a teacher and was always available to help you be successful at whatever you were doing. Alex was kind, friendly, and caring. He was a lovely man. My deepest sympathies to Emma and the rest of the family. So very sorry Alex is gone. His family and friends are better for having him here for as long as he was. He will be missed.
Paula HillI heard today that Mr Dobronyi had passed away and felt very sad. I spent 35 years at the Utility but the early years when we were the P.U.C. were the best. In those days we were like family and I loved going to work. Mr Dobronyi knew us all and was a complete gentleman. He showed he cared about us and we were so lucky to have had his leadership for so long. He will be lovingly remembered. After I retired I would see Alex at Tim's and we would always have a few words. My condolences to his family.
Shelley and Al PopovichWe had the privilege of working for Alex and he was a great boss. He was a great leader, and a kind person who cared about the people who worked for him., He made a point of knowing everyone’s name in every department which was quite impressive. Alex was a true gentleman in every way. I remember the beautiful roses he grew that he would bring into work to share with us who worked for him in the Executive office. I have so many great memories of working for him. It was evident that his family was everything to him and we heard some wonderful stories! With our deepest sympathy to all of you.
Larry DrahoSad to learn of the passing of Alex. He was a neighbour for many years on Embassy Ave. I also knew him in a professional capacity in my role as Director of Planning for the City of London. God bless you my friend and may the Good Lord welcome you into His club and provide comfort to your family.
