Suddenly and unexpectedly, in his 75th year, Lucien (Bud) James Jalbert passed away at University Hospital on Saturday, April 7th, 2018, with his immediate family by his side. He will be lovingly remembered and cherished by his wife, Susanne (Sue) Eileen Jalbert; daughter, Shauna Jalbert; and two sons, Colin and Craig Jalbert. He will also be remembered by both of his daughters-in-law, Nancy (wife of Colin) and Amberley (wife of Craig). Treasured Grandpa and Poppa to Brooke, Madison, Evan, Sheridan and Paisley. Bud will also be missed by his canine companions who have always been by his side and a part of the family. Bud is survived by his sister, Leona Start of Claresholm, Alberta. He was predeceased by his twin siblings, Don Jalbert of Claresholm, Alberta and Donnah McIntosh of Gravelbourg, Saskatchewan. He will also be fondly remembered by the extended “Hooperama” family of Beaver Lake. Bud will be sadly missed by many family members, friends and colleagues who have known his honesty, integrity and friendly manner. He was a compassionate and loving family man who made sure to care for others before himself. We will cherish his memory and keep him in our hearts. He will be loved and deeply missed. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2018 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London. A celebration of Bud’s life will be announced at a later date.
