Linda OsmondCathy & Family, I am sad to read of your dear mother's death today. Both your parents were such wonderful, warm & welcoming people. I think they adopted the entire UWO Nursing Class of '77 into their home and extended family! I feel privileged to have known them both. Sending caring love to you and your family, Linda Osmond
RuthO"Sadly missed by extended family and friends." The very second one walked into the Martin Family living room, you knew you were home. again. Cathy- you are one of my forever friends & I now know you are also Mother Martin, Jr; meeting your Mother, however briefly, was an eyeopener as to why YOU are as special as you are. Your Mother was so cool (how cool was she?), I would never even THINK of cheating while playing cards/games with her. Love to you, Barb, Steve and all. As I said, the best observation - "That Mrs Martin sure had a good run." Love always, ~Ruth
Mariana Duckitt RoyDear Cathy and all the Martin family - Your Mom was such a a wonderful, loving, accepting, exceptional person. She and your Das always welcomed us into your home. For many of us it was a home away from home during university. I am so sad for your loss, as I know how it feels when both one's parents are gone. I am happy for her though as she would be happy to be returning to the Lord, and would be celebrating her return home. Much love and prayers that all the wonderful memories of your lives with her will warm and health your hearts.Love, Mariana
David and Maureen DudleyDear Cathy, Barb and all, Dave and I loved your Mom and Dad and the 'home' that was always open when we were in London so many years ago. Your Mom had a smile that lit the room and a laugh I can still hear and see on her sweet face. They both placed such value on family and friends and celebrating joys and milestones with them. We were honored to be considered their friends. They made you want to be a better person just knowing them. Our deepest condolences with love, Dave and Maureen
