Book of Condolences

Janice Sinker & Betsy HanesFerne was a dear and devoted friend of my Mother, Evelyn Sinker. They were neighbours and friends in Lobo township for many years. Once Mom moved to London, she was always delighted when Ferne came to visit her with a basket of fresh strawberries. Ferne was a kind person with a caring heart. She will be missed.
Neil RaaffI was Ferne's hairstylist for almost 20 years. She was always so pleased to get her lovely hair done & always dressed very smartly. We shared many stories & both happy & stressful times together. I was so saddened that in the last years she had so many health issues & I visited her in the various hospitals when she was there. I visited her on Monday afternoon before she passed away on Tuesday. I shall miss her, but she is at peace now. The suffering is over.
Pauline KirkwoodMy sincere condolences to Ferne's family and friends. She will be greatly missed. I met Ferne in 1965 when I moved to London. We were neighbours on Queens Avenue until she married and moved away, Then I married and moved out of London, but we always stayed in touch. I looked forward to her updates in Christmas cards because they made me feel so much a part of her life. I shall miss all that. Now, she is reunited with Chuck and in a better place. Rest in peace Ferne.
